Abstract
736,564. Agricultural implements. PROUST, L., and ROUSSEAU, J. J. M. June 9, 1953 [June 12, 1952], No. 15893/53. Class 6 (1). A tractor-drawn weeding-machine comprising tools 7 fixed on a chassis 1 provided with a cranked axle carrying wheels 9 and a controlling frame 10 whereby the height of the chassis above ground may be adjusted, is characterized in that a draw-frame 23 is pivotally connected to the chassis and is adjustable relative to the chassis by means of a sector 24 which slides in a member 6<SP>1</SP> of the chassis and is selectively fixed thereto by means of a pin 26. The frame 10 may be adjustable by means of a lever 20 connected to the frame by means of a cable 16, the frame being fixed in position by means of a pin 14 which engages in a sector 12 fixed to the chassis. Each tool 7 is provided with a wearing point at each end and is fixed to a support 5. A chain or cable may connect one of the sides of the tractor with the frame 10 so as to produce an automatic raising of the chassis when the machine makes a turn towards the side opposed to the side on which the tractor is connected to the frame 10.
