Abstract

1406241 Weight transfer between tractor and towed implements D J FARRANT 10 Aug 1972 [12 May 1971 23 Dec 1971] 14463/71 and 60053/71 Heading A1P Two or more implements are towed one behind the other by a tractor and a flexible line 22 extends between a bracket 11 on the tractor's three point linkage to one of the implements other than the front one so as to transfer weight to the tractor's rear wheels without employing the front implement which may depend on it's weight to operate e.g. a roller. The front implement 31 is connected to the tractor by an attachment bar 33 having three connection points are mounted on rearthe implement 31 a tow bar 34 coupled to the tractor and a power transmission unit 36 having an input shaft 37 and output shaft 38. The three connection points are mounted on rearwardly extending arms the upper one of which is adjustable in length and one of the lower ones is angularly adjustable. The bracket 11 is the same as that described in Specification 1285447.
