556,793. Vehicle couplings. BROWN TRACTORS, Ltd., D., MERRITT, H. E., and KERSEY, A. H. June 25, 1942, No. 8711. [Class 103 (v)] In means for connecting an implement to a tractor comprising two laterally-spaced towing links a, b, connected at their rear ends to the implement (in the example shown the connection is through oppositelyplaced cranks to a shaft c on the implement) and at their front ends universally jointed to the tractor, the front end of link b is universally jointed to an arm d, pivoted at d<SP>1</SP> to the tractor and angularly adjusted by a threaded rod e working in a nut carried on the other end of the arm d; in a modification the adjustment is effected by a catch on the arm d engaging a toothed member. The lateral position of the front end of one towing link, or of the arm to which the other is connected, may be adjustable by manuallyoperable means.
