[Class 38 (ii)] An inductance coil is made in two parts 1, 2 wound on separate formers 3, 4 mounted on a common support in the form of a metal screening can 13, the materials for the formers and support being so chosen as to their temperature-expansion coefficients as to cause the inductance value to be independent of temperature or to vary with temperature in a predetermined manner. The coil may form part of an oscillatory circuit and its temperature coefficient may be selected or adjusted to compensate for that of the condenser element of the circuit.
