Abstract

562,965. Indicating apparatus. SODECO SOC. DES COMPTEURS DE GENEVE. April 7, 1943, No. 5560. Convention date, Sept. 1, 1942. [Class 106 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXVI] A permanent magnet 2 in the air gap of which moves the disc 1 of an electricity meter is deflected in accordance with the power, which is indicated on a scale 8 by light reflected from a mirror 4 carried by the axle 3 of the magnet 2. The mirror may alternatively be pivoted on a horizontal axle operated by levers from the axle 3 so that the scale 8 is vertical. In another modification, Fig. 3, two or more mirrors 4, 12 are mounted on the axle 3 with their planes at an angle to one another such that after the light beam 6<1> from the mirror 4 has traversed the whole of the scale 8 the light beam 13 from the mirror 12 starts to traverse a second scale 14, the equivalent of a doublelength scale being obtained.
