Abstract

558,722. Copper powder. BERK & CO., Ltd., F. W., and MEHL, E. Dec. 23, 1942, No. 18265. [Class 41] Copper powder is electrolytically deposited from an electrolyte containing hydrochloric acid using anodes of brass; chlorides of sodium, potassium, ammonium, or zinc may also be present. The cathode may be separated or surrounded by a diaphragm of asbestos cloth, and the electrolyte may be circulated through the cathode compartment. Specification 264,116, [Class 41], is referred to.
