558,251. Wrenches. STEELE, G. A. Sept. 10, 1942, No. 12803. [Class 61 (iii)] A wrench comprises a lever 1 provided with a jaw 3 and pivoted at 8 to a yoke 2 carrying a jaw member 5 with a threaded shank adjustable by a nut 6 the threaded shank being at such an angle to the other part of the jaw member that a line through the point of contact of the jaw with the work and through the pivot 8 coincides with the axis of the threaded shank. The yoke may be extended to form a second hand grip lever 10. Specifications 464,738 and 537,767 are referred to.
