561,138. Wrenches. PETERSEN, W. Feb. 13,1942, No. 1941. [Class 61 (iii)] A hand grip wrench comprises a handle member 1 carrying a fixed jaw 2, a movable jaw 9 pivoted to the handle member at 5, an operating lever 12 pivoted at 11 to the movable jaw 9 and a toggle arm 16 pivoted at 14 to the operating lever 12 and having a transverse enlargement 17 at its rear end engaging an adjustable abutment screw 18 threading in the end of the handle member 1, the toggle arm being guided by a slotted formation 27 at the end of the handle and held up against the screw 18 by a spring 21 hitched to the movable jaw 9.
