557,074. Inclined-cylinder engines. SULZER FRERES SOC. ANON. April 30, 1942. No. 5814. Convention date, May 31, 1941. [Class 7 (ii)] Inclined cylinders 1, 2 each have oppositely-moving pistons connected to separate crank shafts geared to a central shaft 6. A rotary blower 7 is located between the cylinders. It is geared to the shaft 6 and may be driven by the engine exhaust. In a modified construction, the two lower pistons are connected to a common shaft.
