Abstract
550,483. Alloys. FEUER E., and B.K.L. ALLOYS, Ltd. June 27, 1941, No. 8144. [Class 82 (i)] Alloys of manganese with other metals are made by exothermic reduction of manganese dioxide by means of a finely divided alloy of aluminium with the other metal or metals. An oxide of such other metal or some of the free metal may also be present in the mixture. The production of alloys of manganese with (a) copper, (b) nickel, and (c) copper and cobalt, is referred to.
