Abstract
535,673. Alloys. MALLORY METALLURGICAL PRODUCTS, Ltd. (Mallory & Co., Inc., P. R.). Jan. 4, 1940, No. 261. [Class 82 (i)] An. alloy for use as a welding rod or brazing solder consists of copper with 2-8 per cent. of nickel silicide or cobalt silicide or both, 0.05-5 per cent. of cadmium and 0.05-2 per cent. of phosphorus, with or without a small amount of one or more of the metals zinc, tin, aluminium, manganese, iron and silver. A welding rod of the alloy may be used in conjunction with a coating. Specification 512,143 is referred to.
