[Class 83 (i)] An ejector for a diecasting machine comprises a hydraulic cylinder 11 associated with the fixed die plate 12 and a ram 13 which ejects the casting. The ram can reciprocate-in a flanged sleeve 14 which closes the open end of the cylinder 11 and can be secured to the plate 12 by screws passed through the flange 15 which is sunk into the plate.
