Abstract

548,608. Vapour burners. LINDMARK, J. G. Sept. 22, 1941, No. 12242. Convention date, Oct. 21, 1940. [Class 75 (i)] A spherical burner head 6 formed with flame apertures 7 in a zone just above its central horizontal plane rests by a flange 8 on a downwardly inclined flange 3 formed on an annular vaporizer 2. The vapour generated in the vaporizer 2 passes by U-shaped pipe 4 discharging through a nipple 5 into a mixing tube 10 Which is threaded into a sleeve 9 secured at the base of the head 6 and projects above the apertures 7. The bottom of the tube 10 is shaped to form an annular cup 12 to receive the preheating spirit which is poured into the space between the head 6 and vaporizer 2. The cup 12 has a streamlined lower surface.
