[Class 29] Absorption systems.-The quantity of refrigerant in circulation in a continuous-cycle inert gas system is varied automatically in response to the proportion of refrigerant vapour to inert gas in the mixture flowing from the evaporator to the absorber, by absorption of vapour into or evolution of vapour from an immobile body of solution. A reservoir for the solution is arranged below the absorber and communicates with the generator only by a small bore conduit, and the gas mixture from the (vaporator flows through the reservoir into the absorber above; The apparatus described is the same as that described in Specification 543,377.
