540,013. De-icing aircraft. CONSTANT SPEED AIRSCREW, Ltd., and MARSHALL, F. G. Feb. 27, 1940, No. 3597. [Class 114] In aircraft having variable pitch propellers the delivery of liquid under pressure is determined by an alteration of the pitch angle of the propeller blades. This is effected by a bell-crank lever 16 linked upon the one hand by a collar 13 on the propeller blade 2, the other link 15, controlling a spring-loaded valve 12 working across on surface 8 communicating with a supply of de-icing liquid under pressure.
