539,897. Electrode materials ; thermionic valves. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. March 26, 1940, No. 5414. Convention date, March 23, 1939. Addition to 521,818. [Class 39 (i)] [Also in Group III] Compounds for liberating alkaline earth metals in discharge tubes for gottering, or for thermionic cathodes consisting of oxygen compounds of such metals with beryllium, as described in the parent Specification, contain at least two alkaline earth metals. The preparation of a compound of barium strontium and beryllium oxide by methods similar to those described in the parent Specification is described and the compounds are used in manner similar to those described in that Specification.
