534,800. Drying wood &c. in drums; electric heating. THERMA, FABRIK FUR ELEKTRISCHE HEIZUNG AKT.-GES. Jan. 6, 1940, No. 356. Convention date, Oct. 27, 1938. [Class 34 (ii)] Combustible or explosive material is dried on a truck 10 wheeled into a chamber 1 by air circulated over a hot water tank 5 heated by steam generated in an electrode boiler 8. Adjustable flaps 12 control the circulation of the air which enters the chamber under the control of valves 17, 19 and leaves under the control of a valve 15 in a shaft 16. The air m,ay be moistened by water in a container 21.
