592,012. Electric steam and air heaters. ILARRAZA Y SEGURA, T. D. DE. Dec. 19, 1944, No. 25490. Convention date, Dec. 20, 1943. [Class 39 (iii)] [Also in Group VI] A steam boiler 1 for therapeutic and beauty treatment purposes heated by electric resistances 3, comprises a steam outlet 7 leading to a superheating spirally-coiled tube 12 in a closed chamber 10 wherein are disposed heating resistances 14 characterised by hot air being injected into said chamber over heating resistances 16 by a fan 15. The superheater tube outlet 13 and the hot air outlet 17 leading from the chamber 10 may, when required, be connected by a mixing arrangement 18. The boiler comprises a water inlet 4 having sealing fastening means and a further steam outlet 5 for use when wet steam is required.
