Abstract

530,578. Levers. KOLSTER-BRANDES, Ltd., and TILLER, P. A. June 13, 1939, No. 17286. [Class 80 (iii)] [Also in Group XXXVI] The push-button mechanism of a radio receiver comprises spring - loaded plungers 1 with detents for retaining in the operated position one plunger at a time, and a keyboard of levers or push-buttons 2, freely pivoted about the axis 3, for operating the plungers. The lever 2 is returned to its undepressed position solely by the pressure of the plunger 1 when the latter is released by the actuation of another plunger. A rubber cushion 6 is provided between the head of the plunger and the face of the lever, and a station name-plate 4 is held in a groove in the upper face of the lever by means of a leafspring 5.
