527,569. Labyrinth packing for rotary shafts. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 14, 1939, No. 11440. Convention date, April 15, 1938. [Class 122 (v)] , A labyrinth packing consists of a plurality of integrally connected radial discs 13 having axially extending rings 14 on opposite sides which intermesh with co-operating rings 18 on demountable stationary packing elements 15 and 16. The stationary elements are spaced and centred by flanged discs 17, all the stationary members being in sectors to facilitate assembly and disassembly.
