Abstract

1382132 Rotary positive-displacement machines DORNIER SYSTEM GmbH 29 June 1972 [30 June 1971] 30431/72 Heading E1F In a trochoidal-type engine gaps between axial sealing rings 1 and radial sealing strips 4 in the casing 7 are bridged by sealing elements 2, which are supported by pairs of transition sealing elements 3. Springs 5 press the sealing rings, elements and strips against the piston (not shown). The inner surface 9 of the casing may have three lobes, Fig. 2 (not shown). Each of the strips 4 may be divided obliquely into two parts, one of which parts may be united with the adjacent sealing element, Figs. 6, 7 and 9 (not shown).
