Abstract
524,213. Automatic control systems for vulcanizers. DENTAL MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and LEE, W. G. Jan. 24, 1939, No. 2449. [Class 38 (iv)] Temperature of an electrically-heated vulcanizer is maintained constant by utilizing a relay switch of the heated filament type to control the heating circuits. A steam pressure gauge on the vulcanizer may operate a switch 27 to shunt the whole or a part of resistance 26 in parallel with the hotwire 18 of the switch so that the contacts 8 open the heating circuit of the vulcanizer at a given temperature. An indicating lamp 24 is in circuit. Specification 423,453, [Group V], is referred to.
