Abstract

In an embodiment the boiler (1) of the central heating system is connected to the radiators by means of forward and return pipes (2, 3). The burner (4) is switched by the boiler thermostat (5). The switching on level of this thermostat (5) is dependent upon the outside temp. measuring thermostat (6). A minimum lower temp. is however, maintained at all times. An additional control (8) can be switched in the control circuit via switch (7) to make the temp. level dependent upon the time of day. The burner is then only switched on when the additional control contacts are closed. This addition allows the temp. to drop during the night.
