Abstract

522,882. Valve modulating circuits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and WILLSHAW, W. E. March 17, 1939, Nos. 8547/39 and 1451/40. [Class 40 (v)] Distortion in the modulated output from a magnetron oscillator 1, which is modulated by low frequency oscillations from a source 8 applied to one of its electrodes, preferably a grid 6, is reduced by rectifying part of the output by a diode 10 and applying this as a negative feed-back via transformer 7.
