Abstract
611,392. Pulse modulation. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 30, 1946, No. 13049. Convention date, Oct. 1944.- [Class 40 (v)] A squegging oscillator 1 produces short pulses of anode current, the mean recurrence frequency of which is set by the adjustable grid resistance 10, and the frequency of which is modulated bythe source 14 which varies the anode current of valve 15 flowing in the grid resistance 12 of valve 1. The pulse output is derived from a winding of the squegging transformer 6 and may modulate a carrier in circuit 20.
