Thermionic modulating systems; thermionic generators. - In a thermionic valve circuit in which variations in the load on the high-tension supply N, N<1> are compensated by a thermionic valve L, the conductivity of the compensating valve is varied in accordance with the intensity of the high-frequency oscillations in the main circuit R. Grid-bias proportional to the intensity of the oscillations is applied to the compensating valve by applying the oscillations to a rectifier V and applying the resulting direct-current potential to the grid across a condenser K and leak W.
