Abstract

Thermionic valve circuits. - In a thermionic generator or other system having a reaction coupling, the grid is connected through a high impedance to a source of positive potential substantially equal to the plate voltage, so as to permit of a gradual establishment of the oscillatory or regenerative condition. In the arrangement shown the grid and plate are connected to opposite points of a tuned circuit S, the high tension being applied at a tapping in the inductance L. The grief leak W is such that when the apparatus is in operation the grid voltage is substantially lower than the plate voltage.
