[Class 39 (ii)] In electric lamps working with a gaseous pressure exceeding 4 atmospheres and provided with a wire mesh protector surrounding the bulb to prevent dangerous dispersal if the bulb is broken, the mesh, which is usually of lightreflecting material, is prevented from oxidising with loss of reflecting power by enamelling the wire or by enclosing the high pressure bulb in a surrounding bulb containing nitrogen at one atmosphere pressure.
