[Class 102 (ii)] [Also in Group XXI] A device for storing liquids under gaseous pressure comprises a container closed by a plug having a frangible extension which is broken to open a discharge bar on the primary operation of means the secondary operation of which recloses the bore. The container 1 is closed by the plug 7 having a discharge bore 12 closed 'by a part 9 of the plug having thin walls and projecting into a cavity in a screw-operated member 21. On turning the screw the walls of the part 9 are broken and the liquid discharged through the pipe 25, the part 9 being moved, by fluid pressure, to the top of the cavity. The bore may be reclosed by screwing home the member 21 which, with the member 7, is furnished with mating conical surfaces. Specification. 458,429, is referred to.
