Abstract

919,049. Liquefied gas containers. PENNCO ENGINEERING CO. Aug. 25, 1960, No. 29381/60. Class 8(2). A cylindrical refrigerant dispenser 10, Fig. 1, having at one end 15 a needle valve 20 through which gas or liquid is discharged according to whether the dispenser is positioned with the end 15 uppermost or lowermost has a collar 25 extending axially of and secured to the dispenser body 10 and surrounding the valve 20 and having a lateral access opening 26, Fig. 3, and serving as a stand for the dispenser in its inverted position. The opposite end 14 of the dispenser has a cylindrical flange 23 with a rolled edge 24 contacting the floor and protecting a fusible safety plug 17. An aperture 28 in the collar 25 serves as a handle.
