Abstract

514,822. Radial cylinder two-stroke cycle engines. HESSELMAN MOTOR CORPORATION, Ltd. March 16, 1938, No. 8187. Convention date, April 21, 1937. [Class 7 (ii)] Tangentially-arranged admission passages 2 are provided in a stationary casing surrounding a radial revolving-cylinder block'with a single port 6 in the head of each cylinder. Fuelinjection nozzles 8 and exhaust orifices 3 are also arranged in the casing, and the admission passages may be sub-divided by vanes 7. Epicyclic toothed gearing determines the relative rate of rotation of the cylinder-block and crank-shaft. Ignition is. effected by sparking-plugs to which current is distributed from fixed contacts in the.frame.
