Valves; valve-gear. - In a revolving-cylinder having driving-gear comprising an annulus 30 rotating with the cylinders on a wobbler head 29 mounted on a sleeve 28 driven in the opposite direction on a stationary hollow shaft 10 by spur wheels 50, 53, 54, 51, sleeve valves 68, each having five ports, two registering with admission ports in the cylinder, two with exhaust ports, and one with an admission and an exhaust port, are given approximately circular motion by arms 74 mounted on bent stub-shafts 72 driven from the shaft 10 through gearing 39, 69. The charge is induced through the passage 81 in the shaft 10 and passages 84, and exhaust passages 86<1> lead to an annular exhaust muffle 86<a>.
