Abstract
266,106. Crankless Engines, Ltd., and Michell, A. G. M. Jan. 19, 1926. Valve gear.-A combined rotary and reciprocatory motion is given to a sleeve valve 3 controlling inlet and exhaust, particularly in a swashplate type of engine, by means of an annular toothed member 13 formed around the sleeve and engaging a driving-pinion 11, for example on the main shaft 8, the annular member 13 having bevelled faces 14 engaging corresponding, surfaces 12 at each side of the pinion 11.
