Abstract
510,679. Radial cylinder engines. SKLENAR, 1. and FRENNE, N. G. H. Feb. 2, 1938, No. 3281. Convention date, Feb. 5, 1937. [Class 7 (ii)] Inlet and exhaust openings 6, 7 are formed in a ring 1 encircling the rotary radial-cylinder block ; fuel-injectors 5, 5a, 5b are disposed between the openings in oil engines and in or adjacent to the inlet openings in engines using light fuel. Toothed gearing determines the speed ratio of the cylinder-block and crankshaft. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, either the ring or the cylinder-block may be stationary, or both may rotate in the same or opposite directions. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
