[Class 65 (ii)] In a hinge of the kind in which a separate bearing member a is arranged with play or clearance on the hinge pin b between the two hinge members, to allow for self-aligning action, and with means for taking up wear, one end a<3> of the bearing member is hemispherical and the other end a<1> is formed as a cone with curved sides which are either concave, as shown, or convex in section. The bearing member may have annular oil grooves, as shown.
