[Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXIV] In a self-lubricating self-aligning bearing with rotary spherical sleeve 10, the housing 12 is made in one piece and the sleeve is retained within it by inward displacement of flanges 13 on the end faces of the housing, as by pressing or spinning. One flange is displaced before and the other flange after the sleeve is in place. The lubricant 14 may be replenished through radial holes 15. The sleeve 10 is of steel or plastic and the housing 12 of aluminium alloy, phosphor bronze or brass. Specification 502,093, [Group XXXIII], is referred to.
