[Class 37] [Also in Group XL] In a press button type wireless receiver in which tuning is effected by adjustment of two or more impedances ganged together, the elements are moved at different rates so that substantially perfect tracking is maintained. The invention is described as used in a system in which inductances a, b are adjusted simultaneously by movement of cores A and B when shaft c is turned. The core A is connected to core B through a link mechanism which is designed to enable the cores to move at the required different speeds. A construction in which both cores are moved through link mechanisms is also described. The impedances may be condensers instead of inductances.
