[Class 37.] Inductance coils for wave-band switching in a wireless receiver are mounted on a metal tube, Fig. 9 (not shown), on which they are axially slidable for adjustment. The movement of the switch U, Fig. 8, by which the coils are selectively connected in circuit, exposes the corresponding wave-range scale behind the window C. Each complete rotation of the control knob K of the tuning condenser may move the switch U one step.
