413,498. Wireless receiving-apparatus. IDEAL WERKE AKT.-GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEPHONIE, Hohensch÷nhausen, Berlin. July 28, 1933, No. 21232. Convention date, Aug. 16, 1932. [Class 40 (v).] A rotary switch, for varying the aerial inductance of a wireless receiver, is combined with a variable condenser for controlling reaction, in such a manner that the two operating-spindles lie one within the other and can be independently adjusted. A silver-wire brush-contact 5, Fig. 2, moves over a series of switch-points 3, Figs. 1 and 2, connected to tappings on the aerial inductance, a "clicking" motion being ensured by the engagement of a toothed disc 6 with a spring-pressed ball-member 7, 17. The condenser plates 1 are independently controlled by a spindle 9 concentric with the switch spindle 8 and connected to it by a stirrup 10.
