511,291. Alloys. COMPAGNIE DE PRODUITS CHIMIQUES ET ELECTROMETALLURGIQUES ALAIS, FROGES, ET CAMARGUE. Feb. 15, 1938, No. 4694. Convention date, Feb. 16, 1937. [Class 82 (i)] Magnesium base alloys containing beryllium are treated in the molten state with zirconium. Beryllium and zirconium may each be present in an amount between 0.005 and 0.5 per cent. In an example, 0.025 per cent. of beryllium and 0.035 per cent. of zirconium are added to a magnesium base alloy containing 6 per cent. of aluminium, 3 per cent. of zinc and 0.3 per cent. of maganese.
