Abstract
538,644. Alloys. STEVENS, A. H. (American Brass Co.). Dec. 1, 1939, No. 31274. [Class 82 (i)] Alloys, particularly for electric conductors, consist of copper containing 0.01-1 per cent. of boron together with preferably not more than 0.1 per cent. of one or more of the de-oxidizing metals beryllium, aluminium, manganese, magnesium, and lithium. The boron may be added as a copper-boron alloy, or by the methods described in Specification 536,893.
