509,956. Regulating flow of fluids. WOODALL-DUCKHAM (1920), Ltd., and KRALL, R. F. June 11, 1938, No. 17354. [Class 135] A device for regulating the supply of fuel gas to underjet-fired coke-ovens comprises an interchangeable orifice plate 11 and an obstructing member 14 adjustable in an axial direction in relation to the orifice in the plate. In the form shown the plate is held against the end of one branch of a T-piece by a screwed sleeve 12 engaging the branch and the outlet pipe. The obstruction member 14 is formed as a needle screwed through a bush 13 held in a second branch of the T-piece by a spring 16 held between a lock-nut on the member 14 and a protective cap 17 screwed on to the T-piece.
