Abstract
509,749. Rotary meters ; valves. KRELL, W. Jan. 31, 1939, No. 3255. Convention date, Jan. 31, 1938. [Class 110 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIX] A regulating mechanism in the inlet of a rotary liquid meter comprises a fixed bulbshaped member 12 and a sleeve 10 which can slide under liquid or spring pressure in a tube 5. The tube 5 is secured in position by a clamping ring 16, and a ring 7, screwed into the tube, holds centrally a rod 11. A spring 14 is mounted between a fixed ring 13 and a ring 15 on the movable sleeve 10. A stop 6 prevents the sleeve from moving too far into the chamber 20 which contains the rotor having vanes 3 which are preferably rounded on their ends.
