Abstract
503,463. Valve-operating mechamism. KENT, Ltd., G., and BARTLETT, L. A. C. July 23, 1938, No. 21935. [Class 135] A diaphragm 1 to which pressure fluid is supplied for actuating a valve by means of a spindle 7 is supported by a mushroom-shaped head or member 6 which is loaded by a plurality of springs 11 contained within a casing 3. The spindle 7 is adjustable by means of a turnbuckle 18 and guided by a plurality of rollers 14. A pointer 19 co-operating with an indicating scale 20 is also provided.
