Abstract

528,246. Fluid-actuated valves. DEHN, F. B. (Mills Novelty Co.). March 18, 1939, No. 8728. [Class 135] [Also in Group XIII] A valve for use in absorption refrigerating systems and controlled by the flow of fluid comprises an obturating disc 85 mounted on a stud 86 which extends through an apertured disc 87 slidable within a flanged ring 88 constituting the valve seat. The stud 86 has an enlarged portion 89 separating the discs 85, 87 and the stud 86 is guided in a spider 92. A spring 91 arranged between the disc 87 and the spider 92 urges the valve to the open position. The disc 85 is guided by pins 94 depending from the housing 81.
