Closure members, rotary disc.-A rotary disc valve particularly applicable for use as a driver's brake valve is provided with a balancing diaphragm adapted to counterbalance wholly or, in part the pressure on the valve member. The diaphragm 6 is housed in a chamber 9 connected by a passage 10 to the main passage leading to the top of the valve member 1 and is coupled to the valve member by a strut 14 held in recesses 13, 16 in the valve member and a block 12 carried by the diaphragm respectively.
