Abstract
328,503. Kromschr÷der Akt.-Ges., G. May 6, 1929, [Convention date]. Gas meters.-In a dry diaphragm gas meter of the type in which the slide valves are operated from the bellows by flag rods and rock arms and in which the valves are parallel or in alignment, the rock arms are arranged to operate the valves by direct engagement. Rock arms 5 operated by flag rods 4 are directly connected to pins 7 on the valves by means of slots 8. The valves are guided by rods 9 fixed at one end to an end wall 11 of the meter, as at 10, Fig. 1, and at the other end are secured to a lug 20 on a support 21 which forms a bearing for a crank 1 operating the counting mechanism and actuated from the rock arms by rods 3. The guide rods 9 pass through grooves 13 in the valves, which grooves contain grease or other lubricant.
