Gas meters.-To obtain a snap-over reversing movement in operating a slide valve 2 from a diaphragm 1 in a dry gas meter, a pair of intermediate levers 4, 10 are connected by a spring 11, lugs 12 on the end of the lever 10 riding on lateral flanges 7, 8 on the boss of the lever 4, to restrain the transmission of the movement until the lever 4 reaches the end of its stroke in either direction.
