Gas meters. - Gas meters having diaphragm discs 9 of such a size as to allow them to pass into and out of the rings 7 are provided with pivoted slide valves 12 which are oscillated by arms 21 about a stud 14 over the grids 11. The arms 21 are connected to a crank 20 rotated by the movement of the diaphragms act in g through flagrods 16 and arms 17 linked to a tangent arm 19.
