[Class 54] In a gas meter of the type in which a member 1 operated by the meter diaphragm 2 controls the movement of a lever 4 for reversing the valves as described in Specification 456,013, a stop member 5 attached rigidly or by a spring 6 to the member 1 engages a projection 41 on the lever 4 if the control member 1 and diaphragm 2, owing to the weight of the diaphragm, tend to move beyond the positions at which the valves are reversed.
